Unda da sea....

For two weeks now I have been swimming under the ocean. I have done ocean cupcakes for a 1year old birthday party and a strawberry ocean cake for a gorgeous litlle two year old princess. I think I had more fun that ever with these cakes as I enjoy the colorful designing part of it.....and I had fun making cute little ocean characters. Although some of them have big cheesy smiles:) I will start working backward with things I have done and try to keep up to date ....cheers

Happy Easter Everyone

These were fun to make...trying to decide what to use for different features of the chicks and the bunnies. The bunny: I started off trying to make fondant ears, these did not turn out as I had hoped and were taking too long to make. So I resorted to my all favorite melted chocolate and I think it worked really well(and was really quick:))
The chick: no problems here...easy come easy go.
The basket...um nest: So this was meant to be a basket, however the handles did not look good and were not staying on so 1,2,3 abracadabra....and you have a nest:)
The carrot: these were fun to make a friend had sent me a link with pictures on which was great inspiration to these carrots. They are also filled with carrot cake. Tried using apple liquorice to make the leaves but didnt work out so I used my trusty fondant.

The first set of kids and adults had some today and the rest are for the kids at my church after their Easter egg hunt tomorrow:)Enjoy the pics

Repunzel, Repunzel let down your hair

This is one of my favorite cakes I have made thus far. My friend wanted me to do a Repunzel tower for her daughters birthday. She sent me this link http://family.go.com/disney/pkg-disney-recipes/recipe-bakerella-955077-tangled-tower-cupcake-t/

If you like this post and want to see more of my creations ...please like my CeeCee's facebook page just click here:)

What a GREAT idea for a tower...I did replace the cinamon rolls with cupcakes and it worked perfectly.

Playing catch up

Hi everyone. I have been very busy with going away on vacation and baking cupcakes:) So this is more of a "catch up" on what I have been doing. I have baked some polka dot bird cupcakes for a babyshower. Musical notes and pianos for the Redmond Chorale, "Money" themed cupcakes for our Financial Peace class anf Pizza cupcakes for Papa Murphys....The pics are below

I am really looking forward to making some Easter cake pops.....chicks, bunnies, carrots, eggs and easter baskets.
Hope you have a wonderful blessed Easter and always remember why we celebrate it.:)
