Happy Easter Everyone

These were fun to make...trying to decide what to use for different features of the chicks and the bunnies. The bunny: I started off trying to make fondant ears, these did not turn out as I had hoped and were taking too long to make. So I resorted to my all favorite melted chocolate and I think it worked really well(and was really quick:))
The chick: no problems here...easy come easy go.
The basket...um nest: So this was meant to be a basket, however the handles did not look good and were not staying on so 1,2,3 abracadabra....and you have a nest:)
The carrot: these were fun to make a friend had sent me a link with pictures on which was great inspiration to these carrots. They are also filled with carrot cake. Tried using apple liquorice to make the leaves but didnt work out so I used my trusty fondant.

The first set of kids and adults had some today and the rest are for the kids at my church after their Easter egg hunt tomorrow:)Enjoy the pics

Repunzel, Repunzel let down your hair

This is one of my favorite cakes I have made thus far. My friend wanted me to do a Repunzel tower for her daughters birthday. She sent me this link http://family.go.com/disney/pkg-disney-recipes/recipe-bakerella-955077-tangled-tower-cupcake-t/

If you like this post and want to see more of my creations ...please like my CeeCee's facebook page just click here:)

What a GREAT idea for a tower...I did replace the cinamon rolls with cupcakes and it worked perfectly.

Playing catch up

Hi everyone. I have been very busy with going away on vacation and baking cupcakes:) So this is more of a "catch up" on what I have been doing. I have baked some polka dot bird cupcakes for a babyshower. Musical notes and pianos for the Redmond Chorale, "Money" themed cupcakes for our Financial Peace class anf Pizza cupcakes for Papa Murphys....The pics are below

I am really looking forward to making some Easter cake pops.....chicks, bunnies, carrots, eggs and easter baskets.
Hope you have a wonderful blessed Easter and always remember why we celebrate it.:)

Picnic in the snow....

Oops I forgot I had not put my Winnie the Pooh cake on my blog.  One of my really talented friends who has her own business doing party planning and a variety of other fun stuff asked me to do a Winnie the Pooh cake. She was planning a baby shower.....so here is the cake....

By the way if you wanna check out my friends awsome blog...it is http://insweetviolets.com/blog/

"Quack, Quack." said the little duckie.

I have had a very busy week of working, baking and drawing. Trying to fit in everything before im off to Florida:) I will be gone for 1 week so hopefully there will be lots of sunshine. One of our things to do in florida is go and find different sprinkles and decorations for cupcakes and cakes for my frien. They dont seem to have the range of decorations that we have...she is from England. Below is some of my creations for a friends Baby Shower. The cricut cake came in handy while cutting out the ducks:).....I LOVE my cricut cake.

New cake pop stand

I have been researching cake pop stands...still on my quest to find cheap reusable cake pop stand that looks good. Here is a one that I have found which I really liked. It is from Wilton and works pretty well. The one and only con is that the bottom holders are too short so the cake pop stick slips through when you pick it up...hope that makes sense. It still is great and I definitely will use it alot.

And I thought I would add this sweet picture given to me. Julia knows I love cupcakes...so she said we were having a cupcake picnic:)

T-Mobile Treats

Thanks again to my wonderful cricut cake that helped me with the alphabet. These are chcolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for T-Mobile. I must admit that the frosting was a little thin but still worked well as all I needed to do was attach the fondant. My own writing on the pink square was very shaky:)
